Can you believe I didn't log in for TWO MONTHS? Wow ...
I haven't had much time for music, and that's why I haven't been around. I have a blog, which I update fairly regularly, here:
http://www.apertome.com/blog/
I took part in a Halaka recording session this past weekend and wrote an account of that on said blog:

Since I don't have a lot of time, I can't say how often I'll be around here. I hope all of you are doing well.

I posted a collaboration with Freddemillio of Little Red King. It's an ambient kind of thing ... It was a lot of fun to work with

(I'm glad he's back!)

desiderata and I are getting settled in our new apartment in Bloomington, IN. The move went smoothly and we're getting everything set up here. I haven't set up much of my studio yet, but that will happen soon.
The bigger news is that I have accepted a job at a company here in Bloomington. I'll be doing ASP.NET development, mostly for a small publishing company. My last day at DMusic will be next Tuesday.
I've enjoyed working at DMusic a lot, and have learned a lot in the process. Thanks to all of you for keeping things interesting at all times.
Anyway, I'll still be around ... I'm not going to disappear or anything.

Update: I uploaded some more photos to Flickr. These follow a theme: removed graffiti. I saw that some other photographers have gone around taking photos of places which once had graffiti, but that graffiti had been removed or covered. Sometimes, the cover-up paint jobs, combined with the decay of the surfaces and tags beneath (arguably) can have some artistic merit, however accidental.
I liked the idea, so I decided to try it myself. Here are the results:

I got a digital camera ... my first (well, I had a really shitty one years ago that I don't count). I'm really a film photography guy, so I've got a lot of learning to do about how digital differs, and how to do stuff on this camera. I opened a Flickr account here:

And I posted the first photos I took with the camera, a Kodak P850 -- including a few photos of desiderata. There's a set with these photos here:
